Excited AbdulRazaq Commends KWASU Engineers For Electric Vehicle Innovation

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State expressed his excitement after inspecting a successfully converted electric vehicle, a significant step towards embracing cleaner energy solutions.

The vehicle was converted by a team of exceptional engineers from Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete.

The Governor praised the engineers for their exceptional work, highlighting that this innovation showcases cutting-edge technological advancement.

This conversion demonstrates the state’s commitment to reducing dependence on fossil fuels and adopting more environmentally friendly energy sources.

Governor AbdulRazaq emphasized the timeliness of this innovation, especially in light of measures being taken to address the challenges caused by the removal of fuel subsidies.

He commended the team of engineers, led by AbdulAzeez Akande, and acknowledged the leadership of Prof. Shaykh Lukman Jimoh, the Acting Vice Chancellor of KWASU.

Governor AbdulRazaq pledged continuous support to the engineering team as they strive to harness technology and improve the quality of life for the people of Kwara State.

He also announced concrete steps to promote the use of electric vehicles within the government, starting with the conversion of some government vehicles for use on campuses.
