Olojo Festival: Ooni Appeals to Nigerians to Support Tinubu

By Nurat Uthman

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has appealed to Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration in light of the current economic situation.

The Ooni made this plea during his visit to his family compound as the grand finale of the Olojo Annual Festival in the Oketase area of Ile-Ife on Monday.

He acknowledged that Nigeria is currently going through a challenging period where its citizens are facing various difficulties in all aspects of life.

“I understand that people are going through a tough time and life is not easy, but this is a testing phase for us. However, I believe that after this festival, things will return to normal and the problems we are facing will soon be resolved,” he said.

The Ooni encouraged everyone to endure and support their leaders, as this would lead to great achievements.

“We are almost there, but gold must go through fire before it can shine.

The government alone cannot solve all the problems without the cooperation of the people.

Therefore, let us all work together because a single tree cannot make a forest, and no nation can reach its promised land without the contribution of its people,” Oba Ogunwusi concluded.
