The Chairman of Awliya Foundation, Alh. Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has celebrated with the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari on his 84th birthday. He described the revered Emir as a man of profound wisdom and talents.
He also commended the Emir for doing exceptionally well in his multifaceted duty as a royal father and religious leader, whilst offering prayers for the Emir.
His statement reads thus: “The celebration of another year of our father, the revered Emir and Mai Martaba of Ilorin Emirate is an occasion worthy of celebration for all true sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate.
“Alh. (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari has done exceptionally great with his multifaceted role as a royal father, religious leader, and the father of all indigenes of Ilorin Emirate.
“Our esteemed Emir has used his profound wisdom, talents, and experience in piloting the affairs of Ilorin Emirate to enviable heights. I wish Shehu more years of success in upholding the legacies of his forebearers.
“Happy birthday Mai Martaba. Allah yabada zamani lafiya Sarki Ilori.”
