Kwara Lawmaker, Ajuloopin Hails Omu-Aran’s Kaosara Salaudeen On Global ICT Triumph


The member representing Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Tunji Olawuyi, popularly known as Ajuloopin has congratulated Kaosara Bolaji Salaudeen from Omu-Aran, on her outstanding achievement as one of the first prize winners representing Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa at the Huawei ICT Competition 2023/2024 Global Final in Shenzhen, China.

The Lawmaker in a statement on Monday said the achievement of Salaudeen at the Huawei ICT Competition 2023/2024 Global Final in Shenzhen, further demonstrated the true spirit of the people of Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero federal constituency.

He said Salaudeen’s remarkable success is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and passion for innovation. Olawuyi reminded that she has made her family, community, and nation proud, showcasing the talent and potential that Nigeria has to offer.

“As a proud representative of Kwara State and Nigeria, you have demonstrated exceptional skill and expertise in the field of ICT, competing against the best from around the world.

“Your achievement is a significant milestone, inspiring others to strive for excellence and pursue their dreams.

“We celebrate your triumph and look forward to seeing the impact of your expertise in shaping the future of technology and innovation in Nigeria and beyond” Olawuyi said.

The chairman House Committee on Humanitarian Affairs, IDPs, Migrants and Refugees in the statement recalled that his office has long placed priority on ICT through various programmes including Ajuloopin Digital Empowerment Programme (ADEP 2020), where over 200 people were trained in various fields of endeavors and each of them got a gadget including laptops and tablets for startup.

He also reminded that he has facilitated a fully solar powered E-library at Ofe Aran Commercial College and a fully equipped ICT class in Government Secondary School, Omu-Aran to aid the knowledge of Information and Communication Technology in the federal constituency.

Olawuyi also said his office recently organised a Tech Summit where young people from the federal constituency were exposed to technology world and the benefits attached to it.

It would be recalled that Kaosara is the daughter of Alhaji Issa Salaudeen, the Chief Imam of Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria, Omu-Aran branch.
