These words clearly captured what Senator Oyelola Ashiru is doing in Kwara South Senatorial district. He is taking bold steps to impact people’s lives positively without any form of discrimination. From Irepodun local government to Ifelodun and other councils in the district, the Senator has delivered dividends of democracy to Constituents.
His community interventions are unique, impactful and enriching lives. Kwara Southerners are enjoying effective representation courtesy Senator Oyelola Ashiru. As a responsive Senator, he has continued to address needs of different communities across seven local government areas.
In Ekiti Local Government, Senator Ashiru constructed maternity health center in Epe-opin to ameliorate suffering of pregnant women who usually travel long distance to deliver their babies. The newly constructed and equipped maternity health center is serving the community by saving lives of mothers and new born babies.
Additionally, the distinguished Senator also carried out Medical Outreach in Osi-Ekiti. The medical team provided healthcare services to the indigents and to people at the remote areas in the district. They later donates remaining drugs for the health center usage.
The senator also facilitated supply of medical equipments and drugs to Araromi Opin primary health care.
In education sector, he facilitated construction of two block of 3 classrooms in Ejiu-Ile and Etan. This move is to complement efforts of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who has invested huge funds in the sector for five years.
In his bid to address lack of portable water supply, the Offa Born Senator installed solar powered borehole in Osi-Ekiti and Eruku. The residents of their communities are now enjoying portable water as well as reduce hours wasted while trekking long distance to get water for basic family needs.
Furthermore, the local government also benefited from the Senator’s rural electrification with installation of Solar powered street lights in Obbo-ile. The street lights installation in performing dual functions: addressing security challenge and propelling residents to boost economy.
Also in Agriculture sector, he distributed fertilizers to farmers across Ekiti local government in order to boost their farm produces as an agrarian society. This is inline with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda for food security.
Apart from physical projects, Senator Oyelola Ashiru also empowered
Widows with cash support while Artisans were trained in modern skills and given start up kits.
