By Adeniyi Olaitan John

On June 12, 2023, Hon. Olushola Odetundun was sworn in as the honourable member representing the culturally rich and industrious people of Irepodun constituency at the Tenth Assembly, Kwara State House of Assembly.

As of today, 75% of the wards in Irepodun have benefited from his various programmes and interventions aimed at making life more meaningful to the people, earning him the nickname Omoluabi among the constituents.

A few months ago, during a gathering of the Royal Council of Irepodun, the esteemed Olupo of Ajase-Ipo praised Hon. Odetundun, calling him a true son of the soil and commending his astute representation.

Hon. Olushola Odetundun has facilitated several key projects, including:

  • Provision of Boreholes in four different wards

In recognition of his outstanding service, Oba Yakubu Babalola Egunjobi II, Elesie of Esie, bestowed upon him the title “Otunba Atunluse of Esie” during there annual Baragbon festival last year December.

Additionally, the Rt. Hon. Speaker described him as an active member of the Tenth Assembly who has represented his constituency exceptionally well and also contributed immensely towards the development of the State.

It is my fervent hope that by the time you celebrate your second year in office, the constituents will have benefited even more.
