UniAbuja Ventures Limited, the business arm of the University of Abuja is delighted to announce its strategic partnership with Norrenberger, a leading financial services group. This collaboration is a notable achievement under the administration of the outgoing Vice-chancellor of the University of Abuja, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah’, and marks a significant milestone in the drive to revolutionize a model that will position the educational system in tertiary institutions as a trendsetter and pillar of progress across Africa.
Under the visionary leadership of Mr. Teslim Balogun Sani-Aba, the newly appointed General Managing Director of UniAbuja Ventures Limited, the University of Abuja is poised for self-sufficiency through several groundbreaking projects. These initiatives, backed by a combined investment of over ₦50 billion, will see the creation of viable infrastructure projects and investments in other profitable economic ventures to harness the booming economy of the university community. These will all be harnessed through a payment system that will be enabled by a Microfinance bank being positioned for the scheme.
Norrenberger will play a pivotal role as the financial adviser, ensuring the successful implementation and sustainability of each initiative. These ventures are expected to generate revenues in the billions, significantly boosting the University’s financial position and contributing to the broader socio-economic progress of the region.
Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah’ aims to attract international attention to these projects, positioning them as trailblazing frontrunners that will reshape the educational sector. In the coming months, this initiative is expected to evolve into a compelling “African Story,” inspiring other institutions to embrace change and innovation within the Nigerian educational system.
