Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, has emerged as the “Best African International Footballer” at the prestigious Ghana Football Awards, held last night in Accra.
The 27-year-old talented winger beat stiff competition from his Super Eagles teammate, Victor Osimhen, and Burkinabe star, Edmund Tapsoba, to clinch the coveted award.
Lookman’s impressive performance for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire and his outstanding display for his Serie A club, Atalanta, earned him the recognition.
The award ceremony, attended by football stars, coaches, and officials, celebrated excellence in African football.
