
Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, the Kwara South Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has commended the Kwara State Primary Electoral Committee for conducting a transparent and successful chairmanship and councilorship primary election in the seven local government areas of the district.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Engr. Adeyemi praised the committee, headed by Alhaji Abdullahi Samari Abubakar, for ensuring a smooth and peaceful process across the 83 wards in Kwara South. He congratulated the APC leadership in Kwara State, including Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Chairman Prince Sunday Fagbemi, and the Electoral Committee, for their role in the successful primaries.
Engr. Adeyemi urged the successful Seven Chairmanship and Eighty-Three councilorship candidates in Kwara South to focus on strategies to win the upcoming election, while encouraging those who are aggrieved to follow the party’s constitutional channels for redress. He emphasized the need for sportsmanship and unity within the party to ensure victory in the September polls.
“The results announced by the Committee are a testament to the principles of transparency, fairness, and balance of power management,” Engr. Adeyemi said.
“Let us support the decisions of the party leadership in the interest of peace and progress for our respective areas.”
The successful candidates in Kwara South have been urged to work together to ensure a seamless victory for the APC in the upcoming election.
