AN OPEN LETTER TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF KWARA STATE, MAL ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ
Tinubu aide-de-camp (ADC) Lt. Col. Nurudeen Alowonl Yusuf Omokanye undermine our peace, tranquility, progress and development to exploit our right as the next King of Ilẹmọna town.
*We have 2 ruling Lineage in Ilemona town. Namely The AROLU and the OGOBI family. The Arolus are: Omokanye, Shittu, Atoyebi, and Oyeyemi. while The Ogobis are; Ajagba Adeyemi, Ibitoye, Adeyemi Oyebukola, Olarinoye and Adeleke before we were graded to third class King by late Former Gov. Muhammad Lawal during the reign of late Oba Omokanye Oyekanmi Yusuf that died in May 2024 at the age of 95 was the biological father of the ADC Lt col. Yusuf Nurudeen*
In this situations, we urge the government to do thorough investigation on this to avoid Injustice.
All above listed ruling families both in Arolu and Ogobi are not involved in nomination of candidate except late Oba YUSUF OMOKANYE only.
Your Excellency sir, The process is already compromised and it violated the selection process.
Out of the 4 kingmaker, 3 sit are vacant till today. we wonder where he single handedly started his selection process. This is abuse of office and power by ADC Nurudeen.
We want to make it Cristal clear that, it’s not ADC NURUDEEN Yusuf turn, his late father was the immediate past king. The Obaship is going to another ruling family.
Above all, we call on Mr president and our amiable Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as a father for all not to involve them in this kind of shabby nomination, due process should be follow.
We have a letter to buttress our points.
The Tinubu ADC had never sit with his lineage families members nor sit with the joint ruling families who have several meetings together. The basis of our meeting then was for everybody to drop their ambition and focus on rebuilding the community, we sent invitations to the ADC who never honour the meeting.
We call on the state government to please follow due process so that the community will not be put in chaos and the other ruling family we not be cheated because the appointment of Lt. Col. Yusuf is exploitation of our family right to become the next king of Ilemona town in Oyún local government in kwara state.
