President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Mr. Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo as the new Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), according to a statement from the State House.
Mr. Adebayo, an engineer and community development expert, is expected to leverage his expertise to support and drive the growth and sustainability of Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
The appointment was announced by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on July 13, 2024.
With this development, Mr. Adebayo is now tasked with leading NALDA’s efforts to enhance agricultural productivity, promote land development, and improve the livelihoods of Nigerian farmers.
The President’s appointment of Mr. Adebayo is seen as a strategic move to revitalize the agricultural sector and achieve the administration’s goals for economic growth and food security.
