Turaki Advocacy Group Set To Showcase Senator Mustapha’s 365 Days of Impactful Leadership In Office

As Senator Saliu Mustapha marks his first 365 days in office as the representative of Kwara Central Senatorial District, the Turaki Advocacy Group (TAG) has announced plans to document and promote his achievements during this period.

According to the group, the initiative aims to highlight the senator’s remarkable contributions to the district, which complement the state government’s efforts in infrastructure, rural, and human capital development.

In recent months, TAG, led by its conveners Ìtàn’ Ayòbámi and Azeez Olasunkanmi, has diligently traversed the length and breadth of Kwara Central, meticulously observing numerous projects and initiatives spearheaded by Senator Mustapha. Their findings indicate that the senator’s efforts have significantly impacted various sectors, including agriculture, education, roads, and rural and community development.

“During the election campaigns, the Turaki promised impactful changes and vowed to approach governance differently. We are here to show the people of Kwara Central that he is living up to those expectations within a short period,” said Ayòbámi.

“We will be embarking on this assignment in active collaboration with the Senator’s team and our valued partners in the media.”

The group acknowledges the pivotal role that the media plays in informing and educating the public and is keen to collaborate with media houses to amplify the senator’s achievements.

“Amongst others, we will be spotlighting the Senator’s accomplishments first on the floor of the Senate through his impactful bills, motions and oversight functions. Those are his primary duties as a legislator” the group added.

Other areas of concentration would be his various constituency projects, community and philanthropic services, federal employments facilitated and other human capital development initiatives.

By showcasing these milestones, TAG believes it can inspire further development and encourage greater public engagement in the political process.”
