Omu-Aran, Kwara State- The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially inaugurated its campaign committee for the upcoming local government elections in Irepodun Local Government Area. The event, held at the Party Secretariat in Olomu Way, GRA, Omu-Aran, marked a significant step in the party’s strategy to secure victory in the forthcoming elections.

Prince Fagbemi, the APC State Chairman, raised the flag off Azeez Yakubu’s campaign, signaling the commencement of the party’s campaign activities. The event was attended by key figures, including Otunba Biodun Ajiboye (Executive Secretary, NICO), Hon. Shola Odetundun (Member Representing Irepodun LGA, Kwara House of Assembly), Mrs. Toyin Opawoye (National Ex-Officio, North Central, APC NWC), Chief Raheem Adedoyin, Dr. Olaitan Bashir, newly appointed Director General of the Campaign Council among others.

Ejiwumi Mukaila popularly Known as Muka Ray, a prominent party member and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kwara State on Culture and Tourism, expressed confidence in the party’s success, stating,

“Our people have demonstrated their commitment to our town. I believe we will emerge victorious on the 21st of next month.”

Yakubu Azeez, the APC Irepodun Chairmanship candidate, thanked the governor for his trust and support, promising to represent the best interests of the people.

Chief Raheem Adedoyin, an influential voice in the Local Government, emphasized the APC’s track record in Kwara State, asserting that the party remains the most reliable choice for governance in the region. He urged voters to support the All Progressive Congress (APC) to honor the party’s contributions to Irepodun and the state at large.

One of the party stakeholders addressed concerns about rising costs, clarifying that President Tinubu is not responsible for the hikes in food prices and other expenses. He emphasized that the country is only going through a serious reform under President Tinubu and would soon yield positive outcome.

The Kwara State APC Chairman, Prince Fagbemi, called on the people of Irepodun to make informed decisions in the upcoming elections, reinforcing the party’s message of responsible governance and commitment to progress.
