LG Polls: Azeez/Abolude Repositions Campaign Structure In Irepodun

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Irepodun Local Government Area has announced a strategic repositioning  of the Azeez /Abolude campaign council ahead of the 21st Local Government election in Kwara State.

This move is strategically aimed at bolstering the party’s chances of victory in the forthcoming polls.

According to a press release by the Director of Media and Publicity, Hon. Femi Ajibade, the decentralisation of the campaign structure and thus localising same at the ward levels.

By this, Directors and Deputy Directors are to return to the trenches at their various wards to supervise to return to their wards to coordinate and direct campaign activities at their various wards.

Where there is no Director status in a particular ward, the Deputy Director shall take over the Campaign activities for Azeez/ Aboluade campaign  Council.

This directive affects all status/positions within the Campaign Council

Hon Femi added that the approach is a strategic repositioning to enable the team to take the campaign to the doorstep of the communities.

It’s also designed to ensure that the campaign team is more effective and mobile in mobilizing support for the APC candidates at the grassroots level, he added

Azeez Yakubu Tinuola, the APC chairman hopeful in Irepodun Local Government, commended the campaign team for their hard work and dedication. He charged them to continue galvanizing support for all APC candidates across the local government area, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving victory.

On his part, the campaign DG, Dr Bashir Olaitan, while commending the development, explained that the remodification of the campaign council is necessary for optimal results and productivity. He stated that the new strategy will enable the campaign team to better understand the needs and concerns of the electorate, thereby allowing them to tailor their campaign messages and activities accordingly.

Similarly, Director Media and Publicity, Hon. Femi emphasized that the reshuffling takes effect immediately, with deputy directors assuming leadership roles in wards where there is no director. This move is expected to bring a sense of urgency and focus to the campaign efforts, as the team works towards achieving victory in the forthcoming elections.

Hon. Ajibade charges all APC stakeholders and campaign teams to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts, engaging with voters and promoting the party’s candidates and policies.
