The Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South, Arc Oyelola Ashiru has commenced installation of street lights in communities within the senatorial district.
Senator Ashiru’s team has installed Solar-powered streetlights in Oro and Ajase-Ipo (Irepodun local government) as well as Epe Opin in Ekiti local government area.
Our Correspondent gathered that the Light up Kwara South project will installed in many other communities.
In addition, major nights market in Kwara South will also benefit from the ongoing solar light installation.
The installing of streetlights would curb insecurity and engage residents to improve their business activities.
Recall that Senator Ashiru has facilitated similar projects and transformers to some communities inline with requests.
