
As the Free Summer Coding and Digital Literacy Bootcamp for public school students enters its final week, Dr. Adetola Ariyike Salau, Special Adviser on Education, visited Offa Grammar School, one of the hosting centers, on Tuesday, September 11, 2024.
Dr. Salau expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his support, which has provided public school students with free access to vital digital skills. She also commended Hon. Ishola Kayode, Special Adviser on Digital Innovations, for championing the initiative.
Interacting with participants, Dr. Salau was impressed by their knowledge and confidence. She noted significant improvement in their digital competencies, citing an inspiring story of a participant who overcame initial struggles to excel.
Dr. Salau reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing digital education, ensuring public school students are not left behind. She encouraged students to apply their knowledge in academic pursuits and beyond.
The bootcamp, an initiative of the Kwara State Government, has proven to be a significant milestone in enhancing technological capabilities of young learners.
