The ENACT Principal, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has described the occasion of Maolud Nabiyy as a special moment of social and spiritual reformation and upliftment in the lives of Muslims. This was contained in a message to mark the celebration of the day released today in Ilorin. According to him, it is another Maolud Nabiyy celebration across the world. A moment set aside to commemorate the birth of our Noble Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) as harbinger and bearer of good tidings and a reformer of souls. For His birth, many parts of the world transformed from darkness into light and polytheism into monotheism. With crude knowledge, wisdom, and pious behavior, the Prophet Muhammed (SAW) spread the message of Allah to soften hearts of stones and bring them hearts into Islam.
Even when persecuted, even when victimized, even when ostracized from his place of birth, our Noble Prophet remained uncompromised to the truth of Oneness of Allah and kept the crusade on without losing hope and focus.
As followers of Prophetic traditions, we are therefore enjoined to imbibe his great qualities to be determined, resilient, and humane in our relationship with the people.
