The Kwara State government’s initiative to equip students with essential digital skills has yielded impressive results, as evident in the project presentations by participants of the Free Summer Coding and Digital Literacy Bootcamp.
Hon. Ishola Kayode, Special Assistant on Digital Innovations, and representatives from the Nigeria Computer Society visited Etsu Maman Saba Junior Secondary School, Batapkan, one of the centers hosting the bootcamp in Kwara North.
Hon. Kayode interacted with the students, seeking feedback and recommendations on how to improve the bootcamp.
He emphasized that the participants’ suggestions will be valuable in ensuring the program’s sustainability and effectiveness.
The highlight of the visit was the project presentations by the students. The team was impressed by the creativity and innovation displayed by the participants, demonstrating the program’s success in empowering young minds.
