On the occasion of Maolud Nabiy, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Hon. Shola Odetundun, the honourable member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, extends his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community in his constituency and across Kwara State.
Hon. Odetundun, in his message, acknowledged the significance of Maolud Nabiy as a period of reflection on the virtues of the Prophet, urging all Muslims to embrace the teachings of love, peace, and tolerance as exemplified by the Holy Prophet.
“As we celebrate Maolud Nabiy, let us all reflect on the values of unity, compassion, and selflessness that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stood for. May this occasion strengthen our bond as a community and inspire us to continue working towards the progress and harmony of our dear state and nation,” he said.
He further called for prayers for peace, stability, and prosperity in Kwara State and Nigeria, urging Muslims and people of all faiths to continue fostering mutual respect and understanding in their interactions.
He wished the Muslim Ummah a blessed and joyous Maolud Nabiy celebration and urged them to cohabit harmoniously with one another.
