The Osi Youth Council, the apex body of Osi youths, has expressed its appreciation to Kwara State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for the commencement of academic activities at the Kwara South campus of the Kwara State University (KWASU) located in Osi, Ekiti Local Government Area.
In a statement released by the Youth Council’s President, Mr. Kayode Ògbòrògàn, and Publicity Secretary, Mallam Jamiu Agólúajé, the group hailed the development as a fulfillment of a promise made by the current administration.
They pledged their full cooperation and support for the security measures implemented to safeguard lives and property within the campus.
The Youth Council also appealed to Governor AbdulRazaq to consider Osi youths for job opportunities, both skilled and unskilled, within the campus.
Prof. Binta Ajibola Sulyman, Head of the KWASU Osi campus, confirmed the commencement of academic activities and expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRazaq and the university’s Vice-Chancellor for their efforts in bringing the project to fruition.
The Osi Youth Council extended congratulations to the Olosi of Osi, HRM Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku I, the Chairman of the Ekiti Traditional Council, all traditional rulers in Kwara South, and the entire people of Ekiti Local Government for this significant achievement.
