The Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of leading fintech Kuda, Mr. Musty Mustapha, is the guest teacher for November 2024 Raise Life Class, a statement by the organisers said on Thursday.
Mustapha is a visionary techie who continues to play key roles in shaping the digital banking landscape in Nigeria and beyond.
Since 2018, he has led innovative solutions for Kuda, Nigeria’s first fully digital bank.
“It is our pleasure to unveil Mr. Musty Mustapha, the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Kuda, as our teacher for the November 2024 edition of Raise Life Class. This, for us, is another rare opportunity for young people to take important life lessons,” the statement said.
“We are confident that this edition, like previous ones, will be insightful and inspiring, considering our teacher’s track record of accomplishments and growth trajectory. We can’t wait to have the session.”
Raise, a youths development and mentorship life class, is a project of Torchbearers Impact Network (TIN), and is convened by Hon. Ibraheem Abdullateef Akolu, Senior Special Assistant to Kwara Governor on Communications.
Before co-founding Kuda, the guest teacher Musty built a strong career in banking, especially fintech. As a Senior Software Development Engineer at Stanbic IBTC, he led the bank’s digital transformation strategy, focusing on advanced technologies to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
He was one of the founders of Kudimoney, Nigeria’s first online-only lending and savings platform, which transformed to Kuda.
Musty Mustapha’s career began at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd and Keystone Bank Ltd, where he worked as a Business Solutions Developer and Solutions Developer, respectively. He holds an MSc in Computer Science with Distinction from the University of Lagos, and a BSc in Computer Science with first class honors from the University of Ilorin.
