The Katsina State Police Command successfully thwarted two kidnapping attempts in Jibia and Faskari Local Government Areas (LGAs) on December 7, 2024, rescuing 20 captives
According to the Command’s spokesperson, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, the first incident occurred around 7 PM at Kwanar Makera along the Katsina–Magamar Jibia road. Armed bandits opened fire on a moving vehicle, attempting to abduct its occupants.
