A renowned Neurosurgeon and philanthropist, Professor Wale Sulaiman, CON, has lost his beloved mother, Alhaja Belawu Akanke Sulaiman.
According to a statement signed by S.O Boladale, Public Relations Officer for Professor Wale Sulaiman, the matriarch of the Sulaiman family from Oloworubiose compound, Ajasse-Ipo, Irepodun LGA of Kwara State, passed away in the early hours of Monday, December 9, 2024.
Professor Sulaiman, who is the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal University of Health Sciences (FUHSI) and President of the RNZ Foundation, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of his mother.
The statement reads;
“It is with profound sadness and total submission to the divine will of Almighty Allah (SWT) that we announce the passing of our ever-loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother Alhaja Belawu Akanke Sulaiman, the revered mother of Professor Wale Sulaiman, CON, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal University of Health Sciences (FUHSI), and President of RNZ Foundation.
The Matriarch of The Sulaiman family from Oloworubiose compound, Ajasse-Ipo, Irepodun LGA of Kwara State departed the world in the early hours of Monday, December 9, 2024.
