Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, Senator Oyelola Yisa Ashiru has announced the commencement of the transformation of Imole Boja Shelter Rock.
Confirming this development in a statement received by 9japarrot, Senator Ashiru while unveiling the 3-D designs and perspectives of the proposed development stated that team of Engineers from Nigeria Tourism Development Authority visited the site to facilitate a formal site handover and project commencement.
The Lawmaker added that the initiative will enhance the aesthetic appeal of Imole Boja Shelter Rock as one of the tourist attractions in our senatorial district while promoting physical engagement among the youths.
He reiterated his commitment of not leaving anyone in the share of dividends of democracy.
The statement reads;
My last visit to Imole Boja Shelter Rock was in March, for an on-the-spot assessment of the cave which informed the planning of upcoming sports and recreation centers.
Yesterday, a team of engineers from the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority, led by Mr Afolabi Osalusi, visited the site to facilitate a formal site handover and project commencement.
The images showcase the 3D designs and perspectives of the proposed development.
This initiative will enhance the aesthetic appeal of Imola Boje shelter rock as one of the tourist attractions in our senatorial district.
Also, it will promote physical engagements among our youths and advancing sports development, thereby boosting the community’s economy while increasing tourism traffic to the area.
