The National Union ofRoad Transport Workers (NURTW) has commended Senator Oyelola Ashiru for remodeling motor parks in Ajase-Ipo and Offa.
The NURTW Secretary in Kwara State, Aliu Rasheed disclosed this via a letter of appreciation addressed to Senator Ashiru on Wednesday.
The Statement read in part:
“We were not happy with the poor condition of these parks, several letters were written to the local government councils for renovation without any positive results.
“With this gesture from you, we believe that you are a God sent messiah who has come to our aid at a very good time.
“Distinguished Senator sir, you have demonstrated your concern in our welfare and livelihood which we will continue to appreciate till eternity. We have made contacts with many politicians like you without any response, that means you are doing what they could not do in their life time.”
