Oloro Of Oro Kingdom Sets For Coronation

The newly installed Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Highness Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II, is set to mark his coronation as the Oloro of Oro Kingdom on Monday, December 30, 202,4, amongst other activities in the weeklong program, starting from December 27, 2024.

Since he was appointed the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Highness Oba Titiloye has been consulting and having strategic meetings with the sons and daughters of Oro Kingdom in Kwara and outside Kwara State. Prominent among such meetings was his visit to Lagos, where he engaged and received feedback on several issues bothering the unity, development, economic activities and human capital development from indigenes of Oro Kingdom living in Lagos. Also, Oloro of Oro Kingdom has joined all the religious groups in Oro Kingdom in their worship centres.

Economic-wise, His Royal Highness Oba Titiloye has met with a major Chinese investment group to drive the economic prosperity of the Oro Kingdom. To encourage unity and drive the socio-economic development of Oro Kingdom, Oloro has also appointed some sons and daughters of Oro Kingdom into different positions.

It is also worthy of note that His Royal Highness Oba Titiloye has drawn the attention of prominent personalities to Oro Kingdom.

As Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Highness Oba Titiloye Olufayo II prepares for his coronation, he will provide traditional leadership over 11 communities that constitute Oro Kingdom. These 11 communities are: Aafin Oro, Okerimi Oro, Agbeola Oro, Iludun Oro, Ijomu Oro, Oke Ola Oro, Irebode Oro, Iddo Oro, Otun Oro, Sie Oro, and Olorunsogo Oro.

The Asiwaju of Oro Kingdom, Admiral Azeez Afolayan (Rtd.), is the chief host and the Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, is the special guest of honour. The coronation will be graced by the industrious, enterprising and highly cerebral indigenes of Oro Kingdom all over the world. Also, dignitaries from all walks of life; lots of traditional rulers, representatives of governments at all levels, captains of industry and members of the diplomatic corps will grace the event.
