The Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal Impact Foundation founded by Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal has announced its 2025 WAEC/JAMB Scholarship Scheme.
According to the Foundation, this is in a bid to promote educational development and bridge the knowledge gap in Kwara communities.
In a statement received by 9japarrot on Thursday, the Foundation’s Publicity Chairman, Nafiu Toyin Abdulqadri (NTA), said: “We are thrilled to announce the 2025 WAEC/JAMB Scholarship Scheme, which is designed to support deserving students in their academic pursuits.”
“Our belief is that education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth, and we are committed to providing opportunities for them to succeed.” Toyin added.
The initiative tagged “BEACON” Initiative aims to Illuminate paths for deserving students in Kwara communities.
On his part, Taofeek Alada, Chairman of the Education Committee, added that the organization is passionate about education and its transformative power.
As a foundation, we believe every student deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background or financial situation.” He added.
Alada said the 2025 WAEC/JAMB Scholarship Scheme is the organization’s way of contributing to the educational development within our immediate community.
The foundation’s “BEACON” initiative, which stands for Bridging Educational Access For Communities and Overcoming Needs, is designed to provide financial support to students preparing for the WAEC and JAMB examinations, He said.
The scholarship scheme, worth over N2 million, will be awarded to verified beneficiaries at a ceremony scheduled to hold on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at PADA Secretariat, behind Government Girls Day Secondary School, Pakata, Ilorin

He added that the 2025 WAEC/JAMB Scholarship Scheme is just one of the ways the organization is working to empower education and enhance opportunities for deserving students.
