The Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal Impact Foundation (MOLIF) has taken a significant step in promoting educational development in the Ilorin Emirate.
On Saturday, the foundation successfully held its “2025 WAEC/JAMB Scholarship Scheme” at the Pakata Area Development Association secretariat in Ilorin.
The scheme, themed “Bridging Educational Access to Communities and Overcoming Needs,” provided financial support to 100 deserving students from various communities within the community.
9japarrot reports that these students were carefully selected in partnership with community associations, ensuring that the scheme reaches those most in need.
According to Engr. Abdullahi Olohunje Ayo, Director of the Program, the initiative is driven by MOLIF’s belief in education as a powerful tool for social mobility and individual growth.
“We are committed to community development through various programs, including empowerment schemes, food distribution, and healthcare support,” he emphasized.
Guest speakers, including Comr. Mashood Lanre Osho and Comr. Tajudeen Habeeb Tallest, stressed the importance of education in personal and societal growth.
On his part, Comr. Osho shared his personal experiences, inspiring the beneficiaries with a powerful message on the transformative power of education.
Speaking at the event, Sheikh Akewushola, President of the Ilorin Emirate Alumni Association of Unilorin Chapter, advised the students to embrace hard work, dedication, and ethical conduct.
He urged the beneficiaries to make the most of the opportunity and strive for academic excellence.
The scholarship scheme marks a significant milestone in MOLIF’s efforts to bridge the educational gap in the Ilorin Emirate. By investing in the education of these young minds, the foundation is empowering a brighter future for the community.
