Political bigwigs and Business Mogul across divides yesterday attended the naming ceremony of member representing Share/Oke-ode Constituency in Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Razaq Owolabi’s son naming ceremony.
Dignitaries who were present included Kwara State Deputy Governor, Kayode Alabi, Speaker, Rt Hon Yakubu Danladi, Traditional Rulers, Commissioners, Lawmakers, and other prominent personalities.
The event held at Arch Santa Arena, Ilorin on Saturday, January 18, 2024 drawn friends, family and well wishers from across the country.
The son of Hon Razaq Owolabi and his wife, Asabe was named Mohammed Olatunbosun, Dantala, Sabi inline with islamic tenets.
Sheikh Habeeb L’agbaji and other Islamic Clerics offered prayer for the Mohammed and his parents.
Sheikh Habeeb in his sermon urged parents to train their children in the way of Allah and take good care of them.
The Cleric noted that good home training will help children to be a good citizen and add value to the society.
“We are feeling the impact of this government because Hon. Razaq Owolabi is representing his people very well. I urge others to emulate his good deeds in projecting the good image of the governor”. He added
Highlights of the event include games/competition by guests from Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun local government areas. Hon. Owolabi also presented gifts to people living with disability (PLWDs) from his constituency.

Chairman Governing Council Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Prof Wale Sulaiman, representative of Senator Saliu Mustapha, former Clerk Kwara State House of Assembly, Hajia Kperogi, former Kwara State Commissioner for Finance, Olasumbo Florence, Senator Ashiru’s support group and other prominent personalities also attended the colourful event.
