The family of the late Admiral Mohammed Alabi Lawal appreciated Kwara State Government for the honoring their late father.
Hakeem Lawal in a statement issued on Monday and made available to 9japarrot welcomes the naming of the new state secretariat after late Mohammed Lawal.
According to him, this is in recognition of his immense contribution to the development of modern Kwara. May Allah continue to grant him eternal mercy and sustain his enduring legacy.
Lawal served as Kwara State Governor from 1999 to 2003 under All Peoples Party.
The statement reads;
The entire family of the late Admiral Mohammed Alabi Lawal, extends our gratitude to the Kwara State Government for the honor bestowed upon our patriarch.
The naming of the new state secretariat after him is in recognition of his immense contribution to the development of modern Kwara. May Allah continue to grant him eternal mercy and sustain his enduring legacy.
