His Royal Majesty, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II, the Oloro of Oro Kingdom has taken a significant stride towards unity and progress of Oro Kingdom with the official launch of its anthem.
The historic event, held at the Oro Grammar School Hall in Irepodun Local Government, drew attendance from government officials, religious leaders, traditional leaders, and stakeholders from within and outside the community.
Oba Joel Oyatoye, the Oloro of Oro Kingdom in his remarks emphasized the importance of unity, stating that the anthem will serve as a symbol of unity and identity for the kingdom.
Oba Oyatoye reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a united and prosperous Oro Kingdom, where every individual can thrive and contribute to the kingdom’s growth.
Pronouncing the official launch of the anthem, Oba Ismail Yahya Alebiosu, the paramount ruler of Ajase-Ipo and chairman of the Irepodun Council of Obas, congratulated Oba Joel on his leadership acumen exhibited since his ascention to the throne of his forefathers.
He commended the launch of the anthem as a testament to the kingdom’s commitment to unity and progress.
Oba Ismail urged all stakeholders to support the new Oloro in his efforts to drive the kingdom towards prosperity and promote the welfare of its people.
The event featured a vibrant cultural display by the host school, showcasing the rich heritage of the Oro Kingdom. The students’ energetic performance was a confirmation to the kingdom’s strong cultural roots and commitment to preserving traditions.
Distinguished guests in attendance included the Chief Imam of Oro Kingdom, the DPO Irepodun Local Government, and the Oloko of Oko Irese.
Other notable personalities present included community elders, Oloro in Council, Leadership of Oro Descendents Union, and representatives from various organizations.
