Barau Jibrin Distributes Vehicles, Motorcycles To Kano APC leaders


Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibril, has donated 61 cars and 1,136 motorcycles to All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders at the grassroots level in Kano State to boost local party activities.

The initiative is intended to empower APC members and strengthen grassroots mobilization.

During the presentation ceremony, Jibril explained that motorcycles were designated for ward chairmen, while the cars would be allocated to party leaders, including local government and zonal chairmen.

He also revealed plans to provide university graduates with a N5 million loan to help them establish small businesses.

APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, lauded Jibril’s contribution, emphasizing its potential to improve the socioeconomic standing of party members while advancing the party’s mission.

“We appreciate President Tinubu for making it possible to appoint Dr. Mariya Bunkure as Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Alhaji Abdullahi Atta as Minister of State for Works and Housing.

“We also thank President Tinubu for appointing Mr. Rabiu Bichi as Managing Director of Hadejia River Basin Development Authority,” he said.

Ganduje affirmed that Kano State residents would continue to support the APC, recognizing the president’s dedication to the state.

Abdullahi Abbas, APC chairman in Kano, applauded Jibril’s empowerment program and encouraged other politicians to support their communities, especially during Ramadan.

He urged party loyalists to stay committed and work toward securing victory in the 2027 general elections.
