Nigeria’s GDP Rises By 3.84%



Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 3.84% (year-on-year) in real terms during the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the latest report from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

This growth rate surpasses the 3.46% recorded in both the fourth quarter of 2023 and the third quarter of 2024, reflecting steady economic progress.

The NBS attributed the GDP’s performance primarily to the services sector, which grew by 5.37% and contributed 57.38% to the country’s aggregate GDP.
