Ambassador Nzewuji Commends Oba Oyatoye Selfless Service To Nigeria, Promoting Culture Globally

Ambassador Obioma Nzewuji, the immediate past High Commissioner of Nigeria to Canada has lauded His Royal Majesty, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II as a shining example of patriotism for promoting cultural diplomacy.

Ambassador Nzewuji made this commendation during a recent visit by the monarch, which took place at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.

The meeting provided an opportunity for Oba Titiloye to express his gratitude to Ambassador Nzewuji for his support of the Asa Day Worldwide cultural platform.

Accompanied by his wife, Olori Rasheedat Olajumoke Oyatoye, Oba Titiloye discussed developmental strategies for Oro Kingdom and sought Ambassador Nzewuji’s continued support for the Asa Day 2025 edition, scheduled for August this year.

Ambassador Nzewuji praised Oba Titiloye’s efforts, describing them as a shining example of patriotism and selfless service.

“Your Royal Majesty, I’m pleased to associate with you even before your ascention to the throne of your forefathers I commend your unmatched efforts in promoting Nigerian culture and heritage globally” He said.

He prayed for God’s continued guidance for the revered monarch as he served the people of Oro Kingdom.

Ambassador Nzewuji assured Oba Titiloye of his continuous support, acknowledging the monarch’s contributions to Nigeria’s development, both at home and abroad, even before his ascension to the throne.
