
The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, has praised the Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman (SAS) Foundation for its philanthropic efforts, particularly its recent Ramadan package outreach to thousands of Kwarans.
The Emir’s commendation came during a visit by the SAS Foundation to his palace in Ilorin on Monday where he received the team led by the organization’s Head of Programme Operations, Hassan Kabir.
Kabir represented the foundation’s founder, Engr. Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman, a native of the Ubandawaki Pakata in the Ilorin Emirate.
Emir Sulu expressed his gratitude for the foundation’s goodwill and kind gestures, particularly its Ramadan package outreach, which ran across three days where over 1000 Kwarans benefited.
9japarrot report that on the final day of the outreach, the SAS Foundation team assembled at the Emir’s Palace, where they were warmly received by the revered monarch.
In his remarks, Kabir reiterated the foundation’s commitment to people-oriented support and its focus on giving back to society. He noted that the Ramadan package outreach was a testament to the foundation’s dedication to the welfare and wellbeing of the people, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
Emir Sulu, in his response, commended SAS Foundation for its selfless service to humanity.
He urged the organization not to deviate from its vision and mission of supporting humanity, emphasizing the importance of such philanthropic efforts in building a better society.
“We’re aware of your numerous philanthropic gestures. I urge you to remain consistent in your efforts. Our prayers are with you” said the monarch.
The visit was an opportunity for the Foundation to intimate the Emir about its activities and seek his royal blessings.
