
Hon. Abiola Abdulkareem Jagunlabi, the Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister for Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, has extended a gesture of generosity by distributing essential food items to Muslim faithful in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan.
The distribution, which cut across the his federal constituency – Ekiti, Irepodun, Oke-Ero & Isin federal constituency, was aimed at supporting fasting Muslims and ensuring they have access to nutritious meals for iftar and sahur.
The food packages included rice and other staples essential for daily sustenance during Ramadan.
Hon. Abiola Abdulkareem emphasized the importance of giving during Ramadan and the need to support those who may be facing economic hardships. He stated, “Ramadan is a time of reflection, sacrifice, and compassion. It is our duty to extend a helping hand to those in need, ensuring that no one goes hungry during this sacred month.”
The initiative aligns with the broader vision of the Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, which seeks to foster community development and inclusivity. It also reflects Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq led government’s commitment to supporting citizens and promoting social welfare.
As Ramadan continues, Hon. Abiola Abdulkareem reaffirmed his dedication to initiatives that uplift communities and encouraged others to engage in acts of kindness. His outreach serves as a reminder of the values of empathy, generosity, and unity that define the holy month.
He prays that Almighty Allah forgive our sins and accept our fast as an act of Ibadah.
