The Gambari community is set to host the 2025 Ramadan Lecture and Qur’anic Competition in honour of Barr. Alabi Abdulkareem, the Executive Assistant to Senator Saliu Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, 23rd March 2025, at Balogun Gambari Primary School, Awodi, starting at 10 am prompt.
According to the organisers, the programme is aimed at promoting Islamic knowledge, fostering spiritual growth, and encouraging Qur’anic recitation among youths.
The event will feature insightful lectures by Islamic scholars and a Qur’anic competition showcasing the talents of young reciters.
Gambari Youth Movement, established over a decade ago, comprises youths across the four wards of Gambari I, Gambari II, Ibagun, and Zango.
Dignitaries, community leaders, and religious scholars are expected to grace the occasion, as the youth movement seeks to celebrate the contributions of the Ilorin based legal practitioner and PR specialist to the community.
The organisers have extended an open invitation to the public to attend and participate in the event.
