
The lawmaker representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has sent his condolences to the Olofa of Offa, His Royal Majesty Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, over the death of his beloved mother, Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 94.
The Senator, in a statement issued by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, described the late Alhaja Hawawu as a virtuous woman who lived a life of devotion to Allah and service to humanity.
He noted that her death is not only a personal loss to the royal family but also a significant loss to the entire Offa community, where she was revered for her wisdom, humility and generous spirit.
“On behalf of the people of Kwara Central, I extend my deepest sympathies to our revered monarch, the Olofa of Offa, HRM Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, Esuwoye II, the Gbadamosi family and the entire Offa community over the death of Mama. May Almighty Allah grant her Aljanah Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the lawmaker said.
Senator Mustapha also prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and urged the royal family to take solace in the remarkable legacy she left behind.
