In a statement released on Monday, April 22, 2025, Senator Umar described the Emir as a distinguished monarch, jurist, and revered custodian of culture and faith, who has exemplified wisdom, grace, and leadership that transcend borders.
The senator commended the Emir’s reign, which has brought stability, unity, and peace to the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large.
He prayed that Almighty Allah continues to grant the Emir good health, divine wisdom, and peace as he continues to reign as a father to all.
