Kwara-born philanthropist, Alhaji Adamu Attahiru Manko, has said President Tinubu has done very well in his #RenewedHope agenda in about two years in office.
The Pategi-born politician, who recently decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, disclosed this during a media interactive session with members of the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) in his GRA residence, Ilorin, on Monday.

Rating the performance of the President, Manko said Tinubu is doing his best to put everything in place despite all the challenges faced.
“If you look at what is happening in the country, President Tinubu is doing his best because he just came into the office about two years ago,” he said.
He noted that the previous government, led by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, left behind challenges, and the key thing in governance is ensuring continuity to guarantee equitable distribution of the dividends of democracy to the people.
He also acknowledged the strategic achievements of the Kwara State governor, noting that Kwara State under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has witnessed unprecedented development and achievements.
Speaking about the agitation for zoning the 2027 gubernatorial ticket to Kwara North, Manko said, critically looking at the political dispensation of the state, Kwara Northerners have the right to produce the next governor of the state come 2027.
“We have qualified people like Senator Sadiq Umar, Speaker Yakubu Danladi, among a host of others from Kwara North who are fit to continue the good work of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” he said.
He noted that though he is not contesting for the gubernatorial seat come 2027, he appealed to all party leaders and stakeholders to rally round and ensure the 2027 ticket is zoned to Kwara North.
“Though my decision is to contest for the Kwara North Senatorial seat, my appeal is that all stakeholders and party leaders should work together in ensuring that the 2027 gubernatorial ticket is zoned to our district,” he said.
