Concerned APC members from Offa Local Government, comprising 20 representatives from each ward, have submitted a petition to Kwara State Governor, H.E Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, and APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi. The petition, titled “Attention on Party Issues: Before It’s Too Late,” alleges nefarious activities by Kunle Adegboye and Secretary Rasheed Banwo, questioning their transparency and integrity.
The petition demands investigation into the secretariat rent and donations made by stakeholders over the past three years. It accuses Kunle Adegboye and Rasheed Banwo of privatizing party activities, sidelining other executives in decision-making.
The concerned members have passed a vote of no confidence in the party leadership led by Kunle Adegboye and Rasheed Banwo, calling for their immediate suspension pending the outcome of the investigation.
