Senator Lola Ashiru is set to train and empower security commandants in Kwara South to enhance security in the region. This initiative marks another effort by the Deputy Senate Leader to support local security personnel in his constituency.
Previously, in 2024, he donated motorcycles, jungle boots and funds to motivate vigilante groups.
Given the recent kidnapping incidents in Kwara South, Senator Ashiru is working tirelessly to ensure the safety of his constituents. The upcoming training and empowerment program for security commandants demonstrates his commitment to complementing the state government’s efforts towards a safer Kwara.
The training is scheduled to take place on May 19, 2025, at Avalon Hotel, Offa.
