Senator Mustapha Flags-off Second Phase of Water Project Across Kwara Central Communities

The lawmaker  representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has launched another large-scale borehole drilling initiative to expand access to clean and safe water across communities in his constituency.

The water initiative, known as the Urban & Rural Water Access Project, is a strategic effort of the lawmaker to alleviate water scarcity in both urban and rural areas of Kwara Central.

In a statement released on Wednesday by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, the Senator emphasized that the project is designed to address long-standing challenges in accessing potable water, particularly in underserved communities.

Beneficiary communities include Fata Community, Agbana; Elewu Community in Okeso; Babasoja Street, Akerebiata; Apado Town; Apa-Ola Community, and Odo Babagba II Community, among others.

This second phase of water intervention follows the Senator’s earlier initiative to convert hand pump boreholes into solar-powered systems, as part of his broader commitment to sustainable grassroots development.

Senator Mustapha reaffirmed his dedication to improving the quality of life for his constituents and assured residents of the timely completion of the water projects.
