Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expresses his happiness at the emergence of Senator Sadiq Umar (Kwara North) as the new Chairman of the Senate Committee on Rules and Business — a key committee in the parliament.
The Governor says the choice of Senator Sadiq is befitting, given his ranking status as a returning lawmaker, his calm demeanour, and his love for peace and consensus building.
Governor AbdulRazaq thanks the Senate leadership for the honour which he says is not just for Senator Sadiq but for the whole state and Kwara North in particular.
He wishes Senator Sadiq a resounding success in the new role.
