9japarrot Publisher, Saeed Tijjani, Bags Award of Recognition for Digital Media and Community Impact



Saeed Tijjani, the Founder and Publisher of 9japarrot Digital Media and Communications, has been honored with an award of recognition for his significant contributions to the digital media landscape and his dedication to community development.

The Oro Kingdom born Media Strategist, received the accolade alongside other notable figures, including Temi Kolawole, Managing Director of the Ilorin Innovation Hub; Oluwole Gabriel Afolayan, a Research Officer at the Federal Ministry of Health; and Hon. Shola Odetuntun, Member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly during the Legislative Summit organized by the National Association of the Polytechnic Engineering Students (NAPES), Institute of Technology, Kwara State Polytechnic held on Thursday at the Rear Admiral Lawal Alabi Auditorium.

The summit, themed “Leadership and Innovation: A Pathway to Political and Economic Advancement,” aimed to enlighten students on the crucial interplay between leadership and innovation in addressing challenges within their immediate environments.

The event featured Keynote speechees, delivered by Temi Kolawole, Managing Director, Ilorin Innovation Hub, and Oluwole Gabriel Afolayan (Research Officer at the Federal Ministry of Health).

Presenting the award, Engr. Mrs. Uthman Fauziya, the Institute’s Director, Directorate of Students Service highlighted that the recognition was in honor of the “good works the Oro-born Media Strategist has been doing in the media space and his passion for community service and youth development through his strategic media relation skill.

“Your contributions in this regard have not gone unnoticed, and they truly are inspiring and worthy of emulation, and that is what birthed this recognition,” she affirmed.

In his acceptance speech, Saeed Tijjani expressed his gratitude to the Institute and the Students’ Union Legislative Arm, led by Rt. Hon. Adewara Tolulope, for deeming him worthy of such a noble acknowledgment.

“This is a wake-up call for me to keep doing more in promoting innovative ideas through strategic media relationships in the digital space,” he remarked.

Tijjani dedicated the award to “the staff and management of 9japarrot Digital Media and Communications, and his Principal, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, Executive Secretary/CEO of the National Institute For Cultural Orientation (NICO) for his continuous media leadership role and support, and to family, friends, and well-wishers for always being there.
