The Media Team of the BTA Foundation has offset the school fees for two indigenous students in a gesture to honor their principal, Amofin Titilope Akogun.
This initiative coincides with the celebration of Amofin Akogun’s birthday.
According to a statement issued by the team and made available to 9japarrot media, the decision to cover the pupils’ school fees was directly inspired by the “good quality and humanitarian gestures” of their principal, who is the founder of the Barrister Titilope Akogun Foundation (BTA Foundation).
The statement read:
“As we celebrate the birthday of our dear President, Barr. Titilope Emanuel Joseph (Amofin Akogun), we’re choosing to honor him in a way that truly reflects who he is a man who believes in the power of education and the future of our children.”
The team proudly announced their direct impact:
“In his honour, we the Media Team of BTA Foundation has awarded scholarships to selected primary school pupils, including Abraham Emmanuel and Precious Bamidele of St. Paul School, Omu-Aran.” the statement reads.
They further emphasized the significance of their action, stating this is more than a gift; it’s a continuation of the vision and compassion that Amofin Akogun lives by every day.
The team expressed profound gratitude to Amofin Akogun for inspiring them to give, to lead, and to care for humanity.
In addition to settling school fees, the BTA Foundation Media team also provided school uniforms and other essential school materials for the beneficiaries.
They concluded their message with a prayer for their principal, supplicating to God to grant him the energy to continue to impact and to shine through the lives he touches.
