Participants of the ongoing advanced poultry farming training facilitated by Senator Saliu Mustapha have commenced their practical sessions in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Speaking during the commencement of the practical phase, Dr. Bashiru Alao, one of facilitators emphasized the importance of the exercise in bridging the gap between theory and real-life application.

He commended Senator Mustapha for investing in sustainable agricultural skills that can generate income and reduce unemployment.

Mr. Muhjahid Sanni, a participant from Zango Ward in Ilorin East, expressed his appreciation for the opportunity, describing the training as both intensive and life-changing.

At the end of the training, participants will be empowered with essential tools and 200 day-old chicks each to kick-start their poultry businesses.
