Irepodun Youth Council Congratulates Olayemi Olabanji On NPA Appointment


The Irepodun Youths Council (IYC) has congratulated Hon. Olayemi Olabanji on his appointment as a member of the Board of Nigeria Ports Authority, NPA.

The Esie born politician’s appointment was announced on 28th June and inaugurated on Monday 30th, June alongside other members in line with President Tinubu’s commitment to reform the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

Prior to his appointment, Olabanji was the Kwara South Senatorial Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC party in Kwara State.

In a congratulatory statement made available to Newsmen on Wednesday by the President, Comrade Ibiwoye Olaniyi Moses Aniyikaye through the New Media Director, Sulaiman Kehinde (Guba), the group thanked President Tinubu for appointing the APC stalwart, acknowledging the appointment as deserving.

“We extend our sincere congratulations to a political juggernauts and a thorough breed grassroots mobilizer, Hon. Olayemi Olabanji on this deserving appointment” the statement reads.

“We at Irepodun Youth Council are confident on your capacity and ability to deliver in this new role” Aniyikaye said.

The group lauded President Tinubu for the opportunity given to the people of the senatorial district who have been appointed into various top government agencies.

“The appointment of Hon. Olabanji is another confirmation that truly Kwara Southerners are setting the pace high in their respective portfolio and President Tinubu has confirmed this by the recent developments” the statement added.

“Dear Hon. Olabanji as you have been officially inaugurated into the office, we urge you to make best use of this opportunity to serve our Nation diligently and work tirelessly towards the actualization of the #RenewedHope mantra of President Tinubu” the group added.

Aniyikaye concluded by praying to God to give the new appointee the required wisdom and protection to make valuable impacts throughout his time in office.
