
Engr. Jimoh Toheeb Mayowa Abolore has expressed deep sorrow over the death of His Royal Highness, Oba Muhammed Jamiu Olarewaju Omikunle II, the Oludofian of Idofian, who passed away recently in Ifelodun Local Government Area.
In a condolence message issued by his media team, Engr. Abolore described the late monarch as a symbol of peace and a respected traditional leader whose presence brought calm and unity to the community.
He noted that the passing of Oba Omikunle II is a significant loss not only to the royal family but to the entire Idofian community, which benefited from his wise and stabilizing leadership during his brief reign.

Encouraging the people of Idofian and the bereaved family to take solace, Engr. Abolore described the monarch’s death as a divine occurrence and urged all to find comfort in the legacy he left behind — one of peace, dignity, and communal harmony.
He concluded by praying for Almighty Allah to forgive the late monarch’s shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, while also asking for strength and comfort for his family and the entire Idofian community during this difficult time.
