TETFund BOT Member, Engr. Nurudeen Congratulates Olupo of Ajase-Ipo On Investiture As UNILORIN AMBASSADOR


Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) representing North Central Nigeria and Founder of Enact, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo Kingdom, on his successful investiture as a University of Ilorin Ambassador.

The investiture ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, 16th July 2025 at the University Auditorium, was part of activities marking the institution’s 50th anniversary celebration. It recognized distinguished individuals whose contributions have promoted the image and ideals of the University both within and beyond academic circles.

In a congratulatory message issued in Ilorin, Engr. Adeyemi described the honour as a “well-deserved recognition of a royal father whose reign continues to promote education, cultural values, and community development.”

According to him, “Kabiyesi Oba Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu has consistently embodied the spirit of progress and excellence. His support for academic institutions and his efforts in fostering partnerships for educational growth are commendable. The University of Ilorin could not have made a better choice.”

Engr. Adeyemi, who is also a strong advocate for inclusive development and innovation through education, commended the University for honouring the monarch, noting that such recognition strengthens the bridge between traditional institutions and academic excellence.

He further expressed optimism that the honour will serve as a motivation for more collaborations between traditional leadership and educational institutions towards building a prosperous and enlightened society.
